Splash Pad Fun: Community Park in Channahon, IL

We kicked off our first weekend of summer break by visiting a local Splash Pad not far from us in Channahon, IL.  If one of your goals for summer is to have inexpensive fun while keeping cool, put splash pads on your list.  There are several scattered around the suburbs mainly in local parks and most of them including the one pictured are free to use.

Community Park also features a nice playground, a disc golf course, tennis courts, a basketball court, horeshoe and bag courts, washrooms, fitness trails, and a shaded picnic area that can be reserved.
